Hmm, I've run into an obstacle. I'm using the texture STONE2W, and it doesn't have a blue base counterpart, or a grey recolour. STONE2R/B are too strong to be alternatives too...

Edit: Went with STONE2. Although it's not the exact samea s STONE2W, it'll do.

Here, it's barely detailed and the item placement is probably wildly unbalanced, but I made a layout. I've basically run out of time to work on this as I have some other stuff to do tonight. Never made a CTF layout before so it's probably ass, but I tried, guys!

Any changes submitted after midnight aren't guaranteed to make it in the testing wad.

Damn Tango that looks good, and a great midi to go with it. I found 2 minor problems with the map though. First, the lights on the metal pillars at the red entrance to the big curve aren't centered on the grid so you get 1/4s of circles on the edges. Probably my fault when I was making the layout, although that was the side I worked on first before mirroring heheh. Second, not too big of a thing for zdoom ports, but for prboom, when you have textures that are taller than the midtexture openings of windows, they bleed through to the floor. Fix that by changing the lighting of 1 sector +1. This is for those gratings on the side of the stairs where you look into the waterfall/bloodfall caves.

Both of those are quality control issues though, could probably deal with them later.

Edit: Reread the rules and it looks like mid week changes are discouraged. So does anyone want to finish the detailing on Sunday for me?

[EDIT] The second is basically a rough layout to sketch a weirdo idea I had (which is sorta similar to Xuta's map now that I think about it -- sorry there D: ). First is mostly detailed but could use some additional prettification and less weird texture choices in spots.

[DOUBLE EDIT] Sky's wrong in the first map, too, since I didn't get around to figuring out how to change it. I meant for it to be SKYSTR1, for the record, for when TGH MAPINFO's it. ;)

[MORE EDITS] Updated first map with fixed sky. It's not SKYSTR1, either, because that one didn't tile vertically. Sad day. :(
