How much space does all of your doom files take up?

Recommended Posts

This includes mods, wads, pk3s, and whatever related to classic doom.

No doom 3 in this, guys.

I keep all of my doom stuff in one big folder that I named 'EverythingDoom' and it has about.. 4.23gb worth. You can check by right clicking and looking in properties.

I have 1gb, but it's duplicated in ~\wads and ~\Saved Games because I'm too lazy to fix my Doomseeker/Skulltag config to both look in the same place. Same goes for the ~\Desktop\doomiguess directory my buddy made on my laptop. Maybe I should use Dropbox to keep them synced.

Around 5gb for my gzdoom folder. not counting my old zdoom folder, or skulltag, or any other folders i don't/hardly ever use. If i added up every folder that has something doom related in it, i think it would be big.

Heh, did you post this because you were aware of previous threads, or was it a coincidence? This thread comes like a year after the last one, which came roughly a year after the one before it.

Like last time, I zipped some more files so the size actually decreased a bit (from 1.52 GB to 1.45 GB) even though I added almost 3,000 files and almost 500 folders, mainly of zipped WADs and demos.

I have two other temp DOOM folders, of 195 MB and 21 MB, and there may be a few other DOOM-related files in a couple more folders, but not much.

I save whatever I find, rarely is anything deleted. Over the last 2 years I've downloaded about 1 GB of Doom-related files every month.

I've gone through and cut off some of the older version of wads, reducing my file by about 200MB...

I've got abotu 2.94GB of Doom stuff. That includes resources for my mods like graphics and sounds, different source ports and wad editing tools and of course, the wads and pk3 files themselves.
