Can't open wad files in DB1 after they've been saved in DB2...

Everytime I try and use the stair plugin with DB2 on my wads, and then go to open them in DB1 I always get the following message:

Could not browse the WAD file contents in this file.
Error 2147221504: Invalid assignment. Forgot an assignment terminator?

Is there any way around this? I like some of the featues of DB2, but find it rather buggy on my computer but would like to use some of it's features via jumping between the two editors... so if anyone can help with this, it would save me a lot of work.

Might be a config file issue, what format are you mapping in?
