Any Doom-related dreams?

Geez, I can understand that. I think I have experienced a DOOM dream almost like that, expect without the Rabbit Daisy. I didn't see It was a Nightmare though. =v=; IT WAS LITERALLY A DREAM COME TRUE. ;v;

Anyway, that sounds like a pretty badass dream, though. I have to say that I had a dream about Myself playing the new DOOM when It was released, I didn't wanna get up. It was THAT good.

I had a dream last night that someone had made some breakthrough in N64 emulation which allowed assets from any N64 game to be used in any other N64 game. Whoever did this decided to showcase it with Doom 64, with a fly-by demo a lot like the intro flythrough normally in Doom 64.

Except this was really a remake of a Doom 64 level inside some other N64 game, complete with Doom 64 textures, monsters, sky, and lighting.

I just had a Doom related dream, it's E1M5 of Doom except with some changes. There's a Mancubi in the slime room near the beginning and the weapon used is the Super Shotgun so it has Doom 2 elements. Also, the stairs in the beginning room are apparently pushed back a bit and there's some kind of pipe shaped pathway to the side that can't be seen unless you have the light goggles that has a partial invisibility sphere in the beginning of it. That's as much as I can remember of it.

I've been having some DOOM (2016) dreams, they were pretty badass other then the fact I couldn't rip and tear a demon apart, but eh.

Waaaay back when i was a kid, even before i got to play Doom for the first time, i had a Doom related nightmare.
Back then my dad used to buy nintendo magazines, and there was this one with a guide for the SNES version, it had all the maps in the classic automap colors, and it had a picture of the cyberdemon.
I dont know how, but that was enough stuff to give me nightmares. I dream that i was in the game, and it looked like a vector FPS with the automap colors, i was just going around opening doors, and then out of nowhere, a door opened, and behold, it was the cyberdemon... he chased me throug all the place, i tried to hide but he always found me, it was one of the most terryfing dreams i've had when i was a kid.

Kinda funny, how that's the only doom related dream i've ever had.

I'm not sure if this counts but many times in bed I get to half-sleep stage and begin pondering / half dreaming about Doom Mapping. Despite all the effort I invest into solving a editing query during the day a viable solution suddenly appears in my mind at this point.

This generally excites me and wakes me up, making it a struggles to fall back to sleep.

I dont dream often about Doom, but when I do, its worth - even through they are just micro-flashes of Doom. They inspired some places in my maps. These two are 90% exact reproductions of my dreams:

I had one that was... interesting. It involved a Cyberdemon with some unique traits that made it hard to fight. I did my usual tactic of ducking behind cover and leading it on but the Cyberdemon would then randomly sprint forward, forcing me to run backwards behind another corner when it did. It also seemed to have the ability to jump over obstacles. Of course, it still did its 3 rocket burst.

Wow, my thread is still going! Coincidentally I think there was a Doom-related thing that happened in my dream I had this morning but...I can't remember it! Next time I see something Doom-related happen in one of my dreams, I need to post it here!

EDIT: Wait...I remember something about a previous dream...when I think I started doing things that would normally only happen to the space marine...

I was in some room with two other people and it was apparently above a basement type of area; There was a rope going down a very small hole in the floor that I couldn't fit through but both of my legs could fit in though they were squished in there.

After this, I can't remember if there was a console or whatever but I suddenly was able to go through the walls like I had noclip turned on, so I went through the wall, down, then I think I was in some sort of out of bounds void (thoguh I don't think there was anything Doom-like out there like HOM or floors "bleeding out" towards me.

I went through one of the outer walls then entered the maze that was down there; Noclip was disabled at this point, but despite there being no light source down there, I don't think, there was an odd brightening effect around me like in Doom!

I soon started running backwards at high speeds...like the Doom space marine! I just kept staring down the open path of the so-called maze; There were paths off to the sides but this long straight path never ended (and I think I was manipulating the maze to make a wall never appear behind me)!

It wasn't long before the boy that was down in the maze with me started running at me from the darkness; He was running down the same thing but at me, I think facing me and at a slightly higher speed than my Doom-space-marine-like speed, even though he...I don't think he was facing sideways so he couldn't have been straferunning...but I think when he got near me, the dream ended.

I posted about this exact dream on my Facebook so if anyone'd like to hear the rest that wasn't Doom-related before this, just PM me, I guess.

I think i once shot an imp in some kind of photo realistic yet completely DooM 2 map 01 representation.More correctly the end just before the exit door. And i think that was just about it.

One of my recent dreams involved a bit where I was playing Doom, and I was on some kind of a long, wide dark staircase with each individual step being very wide, with some rectangular computer hubs standing off to the sides at regular intervals. The staircase led down to a distant, well-lit stage or arena of some kind. There were a lot of zombies on the staircase, and at one point I found myself trapped against a wall, facing a zombie which was dressed in Mexican mariachi getup and dancing (?), and didn't have a walking animation, just glided like a ghost.

I had one just before I woke up this mor... err, I mean, afternoon.

I was playing a "Duke3D in Doom" esque level the beginning of which was just identical to "Hollywood Holocaust", the street scene just after jumping down the vent from the rooftop. There was a girl, a classmate from my hi-school years - one I had an awful experience with after abusing her sweetness towards me -, or, at least, a very pixelated version of her as she was informing me and a crowd of like 20 people gathering near the vent dropoff that at some time during the level, we would meet her again... or not. Then there was a Doom Builder 2D view of a certain part of the map which was similarly dark to the last-before-last room of E1M5: Phobos Lab, but had different floor heights for each sector (with similar geometry to maps in E1), and also different brightness levels, moreso the floor textures were all ripped from Duke3D and had strange names given to them. I somehow switched back to game mode, passing this section towards the north of the map where I went down a stone staircase and encountered the still-pixelated girl sitting on a couch just left to the exit to the streets (which were inaccessible as I might recall), the other couch on the right having a Blue Keycard, DN3D-design. As I approached the girl, she would say "Hiya again, nice to see ya", but nothing any interesting happened from then on as I wandered around the level to find the exit, but before I could, I woke up.

Strange or uninteresting you might find this little novel o'mine.

Already posted about this, but had a straightforward dream once about playing The Womb from Sunlust. Only weird thing is I hadn't played the level yet in waking life. I had stopped short on my initial playthrough once I saw forced pistol start + arch vile convention.

I remember when I was a kid, I get vivid imagery of E1M1 being played, sometimes various maps in the shareware pool up to E1M4 I think.

Suffice to say that Doom sort of make me stuck in first person viewpoint during my dreams.

I had a dream recently, though i don't remember much of it. I played a lot that night before going to sleep, with the music still ingrained in my ears. Before i knew, i was dreaming about the doomguy killing demons. Not a very creative dream, but i had fun.

Every single time I binge on Doom Builder editing, I get Doom Builder related dreams.

And most of the time what I think is a really cool idea in the dream turns out to be a nonsensical idea when actually applied to level design.

4 years ago I had a dream that a Cacodemon was chasing me through the first 3 levels of the 1st episode of Doom and I remember that after I passed those levels I had a showdown with a huge Cyberdemon, about 2-3 times its original size. That's it

I dreamt once that I was playing E3M2 & doom guy got some cool kill on either a pistol zombie or shotgun guy or imp. He started to make 'excited as fuck' facial expressions.

Had a pornographic Doom '16 dream the other day. It was fairly normal at first. I was playing from the standard POV perspective in a very complex and vertical industrial facility. Everything was very dense, architecturally, and while I glory killed a few enemies, everything seemed subdued, even bloodless. A curvy woman in a morphing bikini appeared, who I began dry humping, and then I woke up.

A few days ago, I dreamt I was playing Quake and Doom and Doom '16 at the same time. The weapon was the standard Quake 1 shotgun, but the environment seemed like Doom, and the lighting seemed like a mix of all three games. I was outdoors, at night, in a foreboding place.

Ok, this sounds made up, but I swear this happened to me! So I had this dream where I was in an imp's office. It was strange because it was a normal office, not in hell or anything. He started talking in this garbled voice, so I said I couldn't understand him. After that he started chasing me down the building. I get a random SSG, and start killing everybody. I woke up. Now, here is the unbelievable part...
When I checked my alarm clock... It said it was 6:66 AM. XD

This is a true story.

I was about 8 years old when i this dream. I was in my bed laying down and I heard this load bang outside my window and saw three strange creatures standing there one had a weapon on him and the other one had nothing but as soon as turned my head they were gone.
Then suddenly the three were in house you could here them walking around and then I saw my door opening and in came one of the monsters I was scared out of my mind I didn't know what they was going to do to me so I was crying for help. As soon as this monster started to grab me I saw a big tall black creature with two big hammers in his hands coming right behind him. He took his hammers and killed all 3 monsters in one blow.

He starts walking up to me and takes me back into my bedroom and I thank him for saving my life the creature looks at me sits down right next to me and saids " my name is hellsmith I was sent here to protected you from any danger and to be with you in any nightmare or dreams for the rest of your life" but as soon as he walked away this is what hellsmith said to me " in 12 years you will see me in real life". Then I woke up but this part will blow your mind and this is true .

I started to play doom when I was 15 then when I turned 20 I download skulltag to my doom games then I went to this website called Realm 667 and I started to go throw and see what new character that I wanted to play and for know reason I pick out my first character and didn't really played attention.
I started to play this new character and when I summoned him it freaked me out and he's looked a like the same creature that I saw in my dreams 12 years ago and he was my very first character that I pick out from that website.
He's name was hellsmith and his attacks were the same. But the weirdest was I actually drew a picture of him when I was 8 years old and I still have that drawing.

I'm telling you want you its sounds strange at the beginning but that is a true story and that's way I like the character too much."

After quite a long time I actually had what I think was a Doom related dream last night. In the dream I was in a partically demolished building which appeared to be a large mall type building and I encountered a room which was filled with green maybe marble or stone floor and walls tiles and tehre was a few green statue heads which looks liked horned humanoid gargoyles scattered on the floor and on top of shelves.
