What are you watching now?

Recommended Posts

I made a "What are you playing now?" thread in WADs & Mods, and now I decided to ask: what are those series or filmes that you are watching at the moment or want to watch later?

You forgot Lost and try to watch now? You just heard about Jericho and give it a try? Or you prefer films? Tell anything here!

Personally, I'm a casual viewer, sometimes I watch How I Met Your Mother, but only The Simpsons and Family Guy are the series I'm interested in.

I rarely watch TV I'm either out or on the computer but rather recently I have been watching The Thick of It series 4. I am also eagerly awaiting Misfits series 4.

I also prefer watching stuff on computer (TV channels are awful in Hungary), but I watch Family Guy and Simpsons on the TV, because Comedy Central broadcasts them often.

I love movies, but I go through phases with them, depending on what's around or what I'm in the mood for. I can watch 20 in a week or go for months without seeing anything new. But the last one I watched was Synecdoche, New York. I like slow burners but it was a little too long-winded for my liking. I understood the point of it but it's not something I'm in a hurry to re-watch.

As for TV shows, lately I've been re-watching Frasier. It's probably my favourite (live action) sitcom of all time.

I just watched the premiere of season 3 of The walking dead. I don't know if I like that series or not. There's really no character that I like at all and the pacing is sometimes horribly bad (when they searched for that girl for half the second season).

Also watched Return of the living dead yesterday. Dunno why I kept that movie unseen for so long. It was quite good with a good mix of humour and nihilism.

I rarely watch TV (or movies) at all, as I dont even own a TV. But when I do I have a slight feeling that I`m wasting my time and should do something else. Ironically though, I spend much of my time just staring at DB2 and/or DW...

Hakugei Densetsu (anime, 1997-1999), it's like a sci-fi version of Moby Dick. Very interesting, awesome storytelling.

I'm currently watching:

Season 4 of MST3K (Trying to watch the whole show in chronological order)
Season 6 of Star Trek: TNG
Season 7 of Tales from the Crypt
Season 6 of The X-Files

And I usually try to watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on Comedy Central at 11 P.M., if I can't I'll usually catch it on the web the next day.

Been watching a lot of Workaholics lately. I have the seasons on DVD; I can't stand watching TV on broadcast television or youtube. Too many ads.

I've put a bunch of episodes of QI on a flash drive, so I can watch them on my laptop. The episodes are exactly long enough that I can use them to fill in the idle time between when my bus gets to the college campus and when my class actually starts.

Went and saw Argo. Good movie, though predictably a bit overrated by critics. Doesn't change the fact that I enjoyed it, though.

Before that saw Looper (Good) and Seven Psychopaths (AWESOME).

Oh man, I love that series too! Sometimes the level of dumbness is painful, but it makes it funny as hell :D
