Springy Posted October 23, 2012 I read the post he put on postmortem quite a while ago. I still wonder what platform's he is actually hoping to get Blood on. Hopefully this will bring along with it some more modding features. 0 Share this post Link to post

SFoZ911 Posted October 23, 2012 That's pretty awesome. It makes you feel warm inside when things like that happend to a community. 0 Share this post Link to post
chungy Posted October 23, 2012 More or less a port of the original engine... kind of sad they don't just release it under GPL like Duke3D did. 0 Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted October 24, 2012 Sounds like a good idea, so long as they open the source and don't stray from the original game too often. 0 Share this post Link to post
Avoozl Posted October 24, 2012 I would love it if they would impliment opengl but then they'd have to make 3d models to replace the voxels. 0 Share this post Link to post
Nightmare Doom Posted October 24, 2012 I think the article in question has taken things out of context which Jace Hall never said anything about a "Enhanced Blood" but rather a source port which he actually said he was thinking about it at the time. Although he might be making a deal with Atari as we speak. Also see this thread. http://www.the-postmortem.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1902 Point is, don't believe everything the media tells you. 0 Share this post Link to post
Phml Posted October 24, 2012 Nightmare Doom said: [...] You're answering to an article in which Jason Hall explicitely said he wanted to bring Blood back "with functionality alterations/enhancements that are similar but superior to ZDAEMON’s", you link to a forum post linking in bold and big letters to Jason's original post in which he explains his vision and asks the community for features and fixes, and your conclusion is "it's just going to be a source port without enhancements". Moon logic hurts my brain. 0 Share this post Link to post
TheEndOfUs Posted October 24, 2012 Have Mr. Hall posted anything on the status of the project as of now? Its still not set in stone, right? 0 Share this post Link to post
