Doom 3 BFG Xbox Live Lagfest Edition

I was wondering how everyone's ping has been with the 3 Doom games offered by BFG edition on Xbox Live. My experience is that the host has 0 ping and myself and everyone else usually average around 200 - 300+ on Doom 3 Multiplayer. Ultimate Doom and Doom II are a different story. It lags like Doom 3, but in a much worse fashion. It constantly freezes frame and is basically unplayable every time. Sure the lag sucks on Doom 3 but unlike the other 2 games on XBL it as at least playable with out the headache inducing constant frame freezing and screen jumping.

Welcome to vanilla Doom's netcode. Your only way to improve conditions is to not play with/against people on the other side of the world.
