What a pleasant surprise! It's been a while since I played Back to Saturn X so it would be cool to try spotting the new little tweaks, other than the obvious ones listed.

We're already aware of some issues with prboom-plus acting weird and non-vanilla, heh. (edit: Actually nvm, I had an older version in the prboom directory and didn't notice the override, heh.)

If you want to check these yourselves in the future: tnswutil. Coop starts get messed up so often that I'd say it is worthwhile having this even if you won't use it for anything else.

Because vanilla Doom (and now chocolate as well) has a static limit for lump count in one file, which we managed to surpass.

This one's intentional, since you can't reach the affected lines in vanilla singleplayer they don't hurt anything in vanilla.

Too many lumps in one wad causes vanilla to choke hard and melt your computer. E2 is the same way.

I always kinda assumed there wasn't going to be a final version of BTSX. The earlier releases, even the first one, felt pretty final to me.

Not to be pedantic, but I'm guessing you used mod powers to edit the thread title, since the OP supposedly was last edited in 2014?

Edit: OP downloaf link doesn't seem to work. Page 15 one is fine.

Huh, I guess so. I didn't do anything special, I just edited it and it worked.

Just out of pure curiosity... what is the purpose of this in DEHACKED?

Also, ZDaemon does not seem to like that tabs are used as separators in the par entries. Pars are not important in ZDaemon, so it's a non-issues there, but I wonder if there are other weird/old DEHACKED parsers around which may have problems digesting this.

Reuploaded (v1.0.02) with a fixed DEMO1 from Alfonzo that should play properly. Not sure what happened there, but it should be better now. Same URL as before, again, and no other changes made.

edit: lol of course it still breaks in choco i don't even know what's going on anymore

Seems only the internal dehacked patch got updated. The external one is still the old one.
