NiGHTMARE Posted March 31, 2002 Stupidity (on my part) and bad luck (also on my part) reigned this session, which is why it didn't take place :( First, for some very dumb reason, I though GMT was EST +7 rather than +5 as it in fact is. Then my computer got some kind of virus that made it take about an hour to type even a single letter :( Speedmapping will be run today (Sunday) instead, same place, again at 9pm GMT. However, daylight savings has taken place here, which means Britain is currently (as of 4:50am GMT) six hours ahead of american east coast time rather than five. I don't know if American daylight savings time takes place today as well, but if it doesn't, 9pm GMT = 3pm EST. If it does, 9pm GMT = 4pm EST. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kid Airbag Posted March 31, 2002 Bah, it's Easter, I can't be there. I have to be dining with the richest people in the city at some fancy, snobby golf club. Everyone there will be wearing suits that cost more than my house. Gh3y. 0 Share this post Link to post
Hirogen2 Posted March 31, 2002 First, for some very dumb reason, I though GMT was EST +7 rather than +5 as it in fact is. Ling says: "when this clock turns ..." then it's time. Then my computer got some kind of virus that made it take about an hour to type even a single letter :( - install a virus scanner - donot open unknown EXE files [quote]Speedmapping will be run today (Sunday) instead, same place, again at 9pm GMT. [/QUOTE I donot think many people will do it un Sunday that late (the GMT+ - ers), or? However, daylight savings has taken place here, which means Britain is currently (as of 4:50am GMT) six hours ahead of american east coast time rather than five. Hum... if this board supports time zones, then s/m is in 11 hours if you want. From now (09:51 GMT+1) I don't know if American daylight savings time takes place today as well, whole world changed their clock 0 Share this post Link to post
Hirogen2 Posted March 31, 2002 hey this board has a bug: All times are GMT +1 hour. The time now is 08:01 PM. on all german clocks it is 18:26 right now. 0 Share this post Link to post
