Melon Posted December 16, 2012 Not to be confused with Doom the Way id Did. http://www.doomworld.com/vb/wads-mods/62542-doom-the-way-id-did-the-lost-episodes/ This has two wads, dtwid-le.wad and dtwid-e5.wad. Refering to a map as being E5Mx if it's in the second wad seems like a sensible notation. Use complevel 3. ---------------------- E4M1 UV Speed in 22 seconds.dtwid-le-e4m1-uvspeed-22s.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
dew Posted December 16, 2012 is lXeY taken for naming convention? it'd simplify things. 0 Share this post Link to post
Memfis Posted December 17, 2012 E1M1 Pacifist in 0:11 edit: I just realized that this naming convention is confusing as hell: I keep reading l2e4 as level 2, episode 4 :)l1e1p011.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
Melon Posted December 17, 2012 I was all happy about my yellow key bump on e4m1 but you guys just totally annihilated it. :( Anyway, I had the urge to do a bunch of punching, so have a tyson! e2m3 Tyson in 6:32l2e3t632.zip 0 Share this post Link to post

Melon Posted December 17, 2012 Don't worry, I said that as a joke. I find it quite funny that I find a bug that massively speeds up the level then somebody else immediately finds another one that's better. 0 Share this post Link to post
Xaser Posted January 4, 2013 Sorry to rain on the parade, but the current release of LE is not final, nor was I planning on keeping v1.0 perma-hosted once v1.1 comes up (which should be /idgames-able). Given that most maps are receiving tweaks of some sort, I'm not sure if many of these demos will survive the transition. 0 Share this post Link to post
Springy Posted February 20, 2013 E1M1 Stroller in 0:28. Was incredibly lucky with this run as I was down to below 5% health near the exit room.l1e1str-028.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
Springy Posted February 20, 2013 Sorry for the double post but here's a stroller for E5M1 in 0:31. In complevel 3 again.l5e1str-031.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
NinjaLiquidator Posted February 20, 2017 I wonder why nobody maxes such a good wad. I will start: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7qRfCk-860 0 Share this post Link to post
dew Posted February 20, 2017 You might want to increase your resolution for recording a video. That 240p looks really bad after processing. 0 Share this post Link to post
NinjaLiquidator Posted February 20, 2017 dew: It looks that Youtube fucked the quality of original file. Reupload soon. 0 Share this post Link to post

rehelekretep Posted February 25, 2017 that still looks like absolute shit - what are you using to record and process your video files? it could be a fun demo but no one is going to watch it with that quality. 0 Share this post Link to post
vita Posted February 25, 2017 The resolution is fine, but the sound is really bad. 0 Share this post Link to post
NinjaLiquidator Posted February 25, 2017 I dont get you. It looks and sounds OK to me. Recorded by Fraps half-size from 800x600, no compression after. No mic anymore. I see everything and there are no artifacts on vid. There is no reason for Doom video to be HD. 0 Share this post Link to post
ZeroMaster010 Posted February 25, 2017 I don't know if we are seeing the same thing, but 240p is far from fine, the quality is beyond terrible. 0 Share this post Link to post
NinjaLiquidator Posted February 25, 2017 If you talk about earlier attempts - fuck the old videos, times are beaten. This one is only significant now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRJpqIgGr2A and its 360p and without microphone. 0 Share this post Link to post
NinjaLiquidator Posted February 25, 2017 OK, so - on Internet Explorer it shows 360p and looks nice, but on Mozilla Firefox it shows 240p and looks like my ass. It must be explorer/flash player related problem... but on IE its nice. 0 Share this post Link to post
ZeroMaster010 Posted February 25, 2017 I wasn't aware flash and html5 gave different resolutions, but you are right. All my internet browsers use html5 as default, I set chrome to use flash and I got the 360p option which looks good enough I guess. Unfortunately, I don't know how to help make the 360p option appear in html5. 0 Share this post Link to post
