Export Levels from Alpha?

Does anyone have a utility that can export levels from the doom 0.4 and 0.5 alphas? They seem to use a different map format from the final version.

Hi, i'm not sure, but try using SLADE3 to export the maps, it can also see the maps from the Press-Release beta.

The PR beta uses the final format, just without a REJECT lump.

The alphas had varying formats which are quite different. I never bothered adding support for them in SLADE 3. I think there's a version of YADEX out there that can open them, though.

I wrote some code that does it, a few years back. I'll see if I can dig it up. Give me a couple of days, if you would.
