Doom is the best game, because it is still fun to a mass of people who could be playing "Need for Speed High Stakes". Plus it has a great editing capability.

I like Doom, and the forum but "the greatest game ever"? I remember when I got my first football, (real football not the oversized egg thing, also known as soccer ball) now that is the greatest game, sport, you name it!
Anyone know why they came up with soccer?

First of all, you say I'm going to watch the football game because game is referring to the match, not the sport.

Second of all, technically it is a sport, regardless of what it is called. Just like technically tomato is a fruit, but no one calls it that.

I wouldn't call it the best game ever (no game, IMHO, is able to labeled "perfect" in the true sense of the word), but it's damn near it. Simply an incredible game, even after all this time.
