At first my post was going to be going 'wtf? what kind of information could you possibly want?' Then I went and dug for my own ss2 box which I purchased retail in 2001. I can tell you that it is different than either of those you have. The cover is lifted off like a board game box would be, not like a normal video game box does. That's all the info I can give you, what mysteries and secrets your boxes hold I cannot say. After all that I've just realized I've wasted 10 minutes of my life thinking about cardboard boxes. 0 Share this post Link to post
Aliotroph? Posted March 4, 2013 Since when does the difference between NTSC and PAL apply to games that run on Windows? I'm no help here; I've never seen an SS2 box. 0 Share this post Link to post

I'm just trying to see if the glossy version is special for any reason. 0 Share this post Link to post

miko508 Posted March 4, 2013 Archy said:Can't you just compare the content on the two disks? I can't, unfortunately, as both boxes are sealed. I do think, however, that the two game disks and box contents are the same (both are the U.S. release). Just the front cover is different, leading me to believe that the glossy copy is some sort of re-release. Vaporizer said:I think the people at http://www.systemshock.org/ know something. I'll give that forum a try... Thanks for all of the responses so far! 0 Share this post Link to post
