Doom Builder 1.68 removes textures that can't be seen

Doom Builder 1.68 tries to act smart and removes textures that can't be seen in the current state of the map but can be seen after a certain floor lowers. Is there any way to get rid of this annoying behavior?

I assumed it was hard-coded. The most I do is wait until all adjacent/parent sectors have been drawn before adding textures.

Doom Builder 2 does it too. When drawing a new sector/line crossing another line with textures on the hidden parts, it removes the textures from the line that will be on the front side of the new line. The line on the back side keeps the textures.

Really some of these automatic fix features should have been possible to turn off.

It's actually a fairly standard feature of map editors. Most, if not all, of them do it. I just got into the habit of putting lower textures on lifts/platforms/whatever as an almost automatic "muscle memory" part of my mapping.
