And actually, I like the date registered on the side of all the posts better than the postcounts. How long you've been in the Doom Community stands more for respectability than a massive post count in most cases, IMO. Not to say that all new people are retards, though =)

Well, from what I understand, that rule really only came into effect if you were bringing back posts from last July with one word replies like "Heh". I think it's okay if you post something quite reasonable and pointful in a thread a few weeks or a month old. Don't look at me for confirmation, though, that's just what I can gather.

I prefer the idea of not having post counts. I used to hang around the X-entertainment forum until the board was changed and post counts were added. After that, people who started doing anythig possible just to inflate their postcounts and then proclaim themselves gods.

BTW X-Entertainment is a pop 80's culture site, not a porn site.
