im curious, these items are so expensive?

Is €75 that expensive? It's about $100, I suppose, but IIRC intricately-made statues tend to retail for quite a bit of money (eg: those TF2 character statues Valve likes to pimp now and then).

These aren't custom jobs - they were made by Reaper, and are relatively rare and sought after. That's actually a decent price for the two of them.

It's simply a matter of supply and demand. There arent many available for sale (just a handful on ebay at any one time) and there's a lot of demand for them.

I got most of the opened reaper miniatures looking at me while I'm on computer and behind them is the icon of sin looming over them in id anthology. Just won unopened mancubus and got autograph on it from ex id software employee.
