Post Hell

Is it just me or are there other users out here who also view things that are sent to post hell in the same regard as comics in the morning paper?

All it does is make me feel stupid.I could end up there again for answering this,too.It's not the end of the world,though.After a few days,someone else will be there.

They are pretty good for a laugh mostly, and I tend to share them with other people not on the site. Some may not like that practice, but it's free advertising right?

It's tending to be like that now, I usually get a laugh out of threads which end up in post hell.

There's comic relief to be found in Hell, though maybe not so funny if it's your own threads appearing there on a regular basis.

It's some excellent comic relief, to be sure. I recently found that the early pages of Blogs can provide a few chuckles as well. Case in point.

I find it amusing how its hidden inside the Morons section. "Post Hell" "Losers" and "Blogs" Yep, sounds about right.

At least now I what on earth Eris was talking about in this one post earlier, he was referring to a blog post I never knew existed >_>

As for Post Hell, its both hilarious, sad and disturbing all at the same time. I'd probably browse it more often than I do, but I tend to forget about the ridiculously obnoxious music that plays there and get my ears blasted, resulting in an immediate back button click. I can only imagine some devious bastard making a secret level set there, with that as the level tune..

Sometimes I find it very interesting to attempt deciphering just what exactly some of the topics in there are about... But in the end, it's inconclusive due to the abstractness of some of those contents.
At other times, I wonder why portions of particular threads get helled. Like for instance, back in either 2007 or 2008 there was this thread about a community megawad in progress for Heretic1, and somewhere in the middle of that thread there was a debate about whether textures from Hexen1 are fitting with the atmosphere of Heretic1. It was a very rational and seemingly harmless debate, but yet it got helled and transfered out of the thread.

I then edited that second e so that it wasn't synched with the first one. The extra "x" on the end of the file name was just the label I gave the edited file.

Edit: and the first "s" was an "r". For some reason the site I've linked to has the wrong file for the "r". But you get the idea.

Like many have mentioned, Post Hell has comic relief at times that make me check it more often, specially when the lock from the main vb page is white.

I've muted Rutabaga Salad via Adblock as I've grown tired of it and Adblocked the flames as they got obstructive and annoying after a while
