From what I know, Doom 3 ports have made little progress. iodoom3 doesn't seem like it's been updated for months and the changelogs and documentation still sound like they just got started on it even though it's been a project for years. As far as I know, none of the existing Doom 3 ports support the BFG Edition's asset formats yet, even despite the code now being available. If you ask me, it seems Doom 3 editing and port work is pretty much completely dead. I've seen a dozen awesome looking projects get announced, with tons of awesome looking screenshots, and then they turn out to be complete vaporware. The only Doom 3 mod with actual levels worth playing so far has been Hexen: EoC, which isn't even Doom-themed. And it was plagued with balance issues and beta bugs, even then. 0 Share this post Link to post
