Any competent graphic designers?

So I have some photographic sprites for a few weapons, problem is that just importing a sprite cut out from a photograph ends up looking pretty crap once the doom palette has its way with it. Anyone know how to make them look more doom-like? (this includes adding Doomguy hands)

These are what I have as of right now:

-Tactical Flashlight (needs re-handing)
-Binoculars (also need re-handing)
-Baseball Bat
-Rake
-Shovel
-Plastic Ax (maybe altered to look more realistic?)

Try Blox and zrrion the insect on ZDoom forums. There's other competent artists over there, but those are just my recommendations.

Yes, Blox and Zrrion are excellent, along with; Eriance and Doom Nukem I would add. There are some more brilliant sprite artists but I can't really think too well at the moment.

Eriance and Vader are 2 others, but I think they focus more on monster sprites, hence me not mentioning them.
