Canofbacon Posted January 18, 2014 Not sure if anyone has done this, but it would be cool if someone made a weapon in Doom 2 that was a torch and when you have it out it lights up dark areas. Sorta like the Light Amplification Visor except it doesn't run out and since you have to have it out for it to work obviously you can't shoot while it's out. 0 Share this post Link to post

schwerpunk Posted January 18, 2014 Or like the flare gun from Blood, except with GL lighting? Sounds cool. I always loved game items, weapons, spells, etc., that affected lighting in a significant way. Really, be pretty easy. Just design your basic weapon, give the flare actor it emits some cool effects, maybe some gravity, then give it a really long life before going to the 'Death:' frames. 0 Share this post Link to post
