Removing Patches from a texture wad without screwing PNAMES/TEXTURE1

So how do you remove patches without completely borking the order of patches in PNAMES, or where all the patches go in the TEXTURE1 lump.

In SLADE, you can right-click on patches in PNAMES and remove them that way. The remaining patches will keep the same numbers they originally had, so it won't cause issues with TEXTURE1.

You can also, though, use its automatic pruning features in the Archive menu, under Maintenance. If you've removed all the TEXTURE1 entries that had been making use of the patch in question, you should be able to just do "Remove Unused Patches" to have it get rid of the no-longer-used patch lumps and entries all at once.
