kain Posted May 2, 2002 yah yah i know. big deal but, befor the my first oc job was to go underway, i had to expiroment with it. the stock heatsink was put on with the fucking screws that are on tight as god knows waht. anyway, i changed the fsb ( front side bus ) to 83, and that bumped the pentium 233 to a whoping 250. cool heh? nope. not for me. so i chaged the clock to 3.5 and wham, 291 mhx, with a stock heat sink. it doesnt seem to get too hot though, just a mere 110F or 45C at idle. i dont want to put it under allot of strain, so ill discontinue my oc job here until i get my old heatsink off of this mother. i want to know what yall have oced. i want to push it all the way to 456mhz, but not now. lol cool enough that i can show off at school. also, how can i get my p2 under a cooler environment, but i am scared to refrigerate it becaue of all the condensation it will have to endure. 0 Share this post Link to post

kain Posted May 2, 2002 have just ran a heavy cpu straining gl screen saver and the cpu under strain temps are: 114F 46C remember this is all with a stock heatsink. 0 Share this post Link to post
