When it's done, it gets released. The deadline is get it done when you feel like it (Because nobody is running around demanding WOOO2 so there is no rush).

Judging by Scypek2's rundown of each map, this will be a very interesting mapset!

I promise not to wax too philosophical here, but I truly do want to say that I am honored to be part of this project.

Wooo wad was the first community project I participated in. I had released a few lone levels and even my own megawad near the same time, but Wooo helped me feel a little bit closer to other doomworld members than projects I simply did on my own. Having my name alongside other mappers, including a number of staples of the Doom community, was something tremendous, and I do feel blessed. It also helps that Jimmy91 did a playthrough via a Twitch stream (if you haven't seen it, check it out!) It was the first time I saw any of my levels played in video, and getting to hear a players live reactions was something I had never before experienced. I don't know if Jimmy is planning to do a stream for Wooo2, but if he is, I'll definitely want to join live!

But enough about the first Wooo. We're here to talk about the second Wooo, which I contributed a level to, of which I will now give a review (and no, it isn't named Stu or Cindy Lou Who!):

"Craz Nessie"
The title is simple: "Craz" is one letter short of "crazy", and "Nessie" is two e's, two s's, an n and an i. The level design is an amalgamation of mankind's frustrations put into the form of random textures and mutated shapes, placed one on top of another. Fine details litter the ground haphazardly, bits of industry mixed with barren landscapes as if no order had ever been established. It is beatable, with or without 100% secrets. Killing all of the enemies is not recommended, as some simply refuse to die, while others zoom around haphazardly like drunken hummingbirds.

You are one of the last few individuals that need to finish, we cannot finish soon without your stuff being done and uploaded to this thread. You should consider doing your piece as soon as possible so I can get to putting this crap together and creating utterly awful MIDIs to go along with the levels. If you would kindly speed up the creation process you will be rewarded with *biscuits and gravy.

*You will not be supplied with biscuits and/or gravy, this is an outright fabrication and a blatant lie. Attempting to receive your gravy and biscuits will end in nothing but disappointment and/or minor humiliation.

After compiling all the new crap, there is one last thing to say before I get some sleep (4:32 in the morning as of now, I hate my life):

All that we need is Pure Hellspawn to finish (As it appears the others have abandoned us as of now). Forget my last post about the gravy and biscuits, the DEADLINE IS 2 WEEKS FROM NOW so get to it marine!

I would gladly do any text stuff once the final arrangement of the maps is done. The project could do without text stuff (it mysteriously disappeared from WOOO 1 release) but it's always more fun I guess. I bet I could think up a "reasonable" storyline to all the levels.

I was a little vague:

Maps without their own MIDIs are receiving my monstrosities (so you have nothing to worry about).

We are reaching the conclusion of this masterpiece, there is unfortunately no text intermissions (but who really cares about that?) and a rather different ending to the megawad that breaks the norm...

Now I will have it ready soon... probably tomorrow/the day after that amounts of soon...

some reviews of my new maps would be nice first.

oh and one final thing. UV and NM have different monsters and the boss has much higher HP in NM. As for easier difficulties, things are much easier and there is no part 2 to the boss fight.

Maybe each author can write an intermission text for their respective maps? I think it'd be more fun that may.

Edit: I've recorded a (half-hearted) playthrough of WOOO 1, and I plan to upload it onto YouTube to celebrate WOOO 2's release once the fateful hour draws near.

My main problem with WOOO 1 so far is that it's kinda... just bad. Not funny Light and Dark Adventures of Dark Yagami terribad. Just sort of hard and annoying, so I on many occasions just ~Nextmap'd or ~Resurrect'd or ~Summon BFGBall'd whenever it started to rub me the wrong way. Shame too, I thought it'd be fun for some stupid reason.

Awesome! I'm interested to see how you reacted to my maps ;)

Looks like we did it guys.

EDIT: As for the intermission screens, I think it would be better to just get this over with and not bother adding those as that would add extra time to the development time (and let us face it, this may not be a success like the previous one). Also, we are putting a little too much effort into this, we may actually break the premise of it being awful (Which would be a failure).

First:

Scripting, scripting scripting scripting... Good scripting at that.

Second:

Scripting, scripting scripting... You get the picture.
I have to question hells motives for having a gym but then again those big, muscular and burly Barons of Hell do have to keep in shape. The most terrifying part of this map has to be the shitstorm of pissed of gym employees that come after you when the icon notices you are dicking about in his gym, that gets brutally difficult when a Mancubus, an Arachnotron and sometimes an Archvile get spawned in front of you.

overall I would give them an 11/10, its OK.
