Memfis Posted June 12, 2014 I just opened some Boom map I made about a year ago and I found it very difficult to understand how the voodoo doll scripts work. It would be so much easier if it was a ZDoom map with well commented scripts... Which brings us to this awesome idea: we need a Boom script editor. How it would work: you write a bunch of easy-to-understand commands with some comments, then press a button and it generates all the necessary voodoo doll tunnels and linedefs using the wadc tool for example. Also a new lump inside the wad is created with all the commands so that you could take a look at it at any time to understand how the whole map works. Awesome? 1 Share this post Link to post
printz Posted June 12, 2014 Has anyone tried WadC? Can you define functions to interpret text and draw map based on that? 0 Share this post Link to post
