Doom Weapon Identification

Has anyone found out what kind of guns were digitized for the super shotgun, the pistol, the chaingun and the BFG9000?

Someone mentioned that the chaingun could be an Ol' Painless Tootsie Toy Gatling Gun.. but has there ever been any confirmation from id?

Isn't the pistol supposed to be some kind of Beretta? I lack the source though.

Some weapons are modeled from toys from Toys'R'Us and the hands holding the weapons are those of Kevin Cloud.

Holy shit, I used to have the same exact toy gun but in a blue color. Too bad I think I threw it out. :( I always thought it looked suspiciously similar to the chaingun.
