Yet another cop gives man a heart attack

Recommended Posts

As a real life parody to the father of 6 dying due to a heart attack caused by a 'police choke hold.'

Here is a story of a cop pulling over an elderly man for speeding who then had a heart attack and the cop saved his life:

Cops stopping criminals causing heart attacks. Only this story has a happy ending, well not massage happy.

Is the cop a hero for saving a man or a monster for causing the heart attack?

Discuss!

So, the guy was speeding and the cop rightly pulled him over for it. How is it his fault that the speeder got a heart attack? The cop was just doing his job. For saving the old man, he's neither a hero or a monster. In the line of duty, I think it should be expected to respond to a medical emergency like that, especially when it's directly relevant to what you were just involved in.

He would only be a monster if he refused to do anything about it. However, in contrast to many monstrous cops, he is a hero. I just think that all cops should be held to higher standards.

Life imitating... life, I guess.

Note to self: actually fucking read things and not just skim them.

I find that reading the post after the original post is the best way to summarize what the thread is about.
