Poncho1 Posted March 13, 2021 I swear Map14 is cursed, since this new record and the previous one both desync. Which WAD file are you using @NeilK? The 2013 one or the recent one? Cheers. Or are my settings all wrong (the spechits or whatever, someone told me about that and I forgot what to say "yes" or "no" on)? 0 Share this post Link to post
NeilK Posted March 13, 2021 (edited) @Poncho1 Intercept Overflow Emulation should be turned off, which is strange I played the demo back in prboom with overflows on no desync on my end. As far Hellbound version, I'm using the idgames version dated 6/28/2013. I also did notice a mediafire link dated in December 2013 with the textfile mentioning fixes to map 29 which shouldn't effect playback of map 14. Let me know if you still have problems. Worse case scenario is I'll have to redo the demo. 0 Share this post Link to post
Poncho1 Posted March 14, 2021 Ahh, that makes sense. I have the more recent version from September 2013. 0 Share this post Link to post

No need to upload to DSDA I'll post another with the proper version soon enough. 1 Share this post Link to post

Brutal Doomer Posted August 22, 2022 Map29 UV-Max in 24:51 Plays back with hbfm29.wad Was actually recorded on clvl 9, but runs okay on 2. Video version available (720p60, and my OBS couldn't capture the first second) (don't mind the odd video name - it's a part of BD playlist) HB29-2541.zip 1 Share this post Link to post

This is a misconception. -playdemo does not change complevel. -complevel added to command line is ignored. Exceptions are 2/3/4 and I think 5 for some old TAS. If you find stdout.txt, it should have this line G_DoPlayDemo: playing demo with boom v2.02 compatibility 2 Share this post Link to post
