Shapeless Posted August 24, 2014 that's right I have a few quarts flasks and extra items in my inventory playing heretic in gz doom, but when I go to the next level I loose them. so if I have 2 tombs of power I'll just end up with one. any solutions to this? 0 Share this post Link to post
plums Posted August 24, 2014 This is normal behaviour, and how vanilla Heretic works as well. Only one of any item carries over to the next level, except the wings of wrath which never carry over at all. The reason it to prevent players from stockpiling too many items at a time and getting overly powerful. 0 Share this post Link to post
Vermil Posted August 24, 2014 In Heretic Singleplayer, I've always thought the loosing of ones artefacts between maps contradicted that the maps appeared designed to encourage exploration for them. 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted August 24, 2014 By the way:tomb: a grave (originally a mound, same etymology as tumulus)tome: a book (more precisely, a book in a series because the full text is too long for only one book, a tome is a "cut" of the full text, same etymology as "atom" which means "cannot be cut" or all the medical procedures in -tomy (lobotomy, vasectomy, etc.) which mean "cutting off" the part in question, and many others.)So a tome raider is a librarian, and a tomb of power is a crypt with good feng shui. 0 Share this post Link to post
