Games with a noir/neo-noir theme?

I've only played few games with a noir theme such as the first two Max Payne games and L.A. Noire, would there be any others out there?

I wouldn't call Max Payne "noir." A little too action oriented, I guess; and they're less investigative drama with dark undertones and more revenge opera.

Definitely what Maes said. I'd add Overseer to the list too. Great games, and can't wait for the new Tex Murphy game to come out!

Well I wasn't sure if Max Payne was noir related in some sense, but yeah those few games mentioned do sound interesting, I'll have to look into them.

Games like Max Payne would be nice to know of also even if they aren't noir related, it's just that darkish feeling it has I have found to be enjoyable also.

Its idea of "noir" is a bit different from Max Payne's (probably better described as "gumshoe") but with the music it certainly achieves a decent degree of atmosphere even with the pixel graphics

Gemini Rue probably isn't a straight example, but does seem to have some noir influences.

The Walking Dead computer game feels a lot like LA Noire. It might actually be better.
