Seeing as Halloween is sneaking up on us, I've been playing a lot of Doom 64 this month. Decided to take a bunch of screenshots! I really like the architecture in this game, it helps set the mood.

That's not really surprising; Doom 64 is the result of the process behind PSX Doom taken to its logical conclusion.

Now I can show my map from Pigeon speedmapping session. It was cool experience. I didn't think that I could create something in three hours, but I did it.

Replayed through Scythe on UV but on @printz's Autodoom cooping with 3 bots which took about 2 hours or so to complete.

There is actually an example of that out in the wild in a mapset, but the name escapes me. They however made the ledges like 16 doombuilder units thick.

 

e - wait I think it is a Moller brothers mapset.

In my version, the ledges are 4 DOOM UNITS WIDE! And they are above a poison trench that there is not way back up if you fall off!

 

P.S. I use Doom Builder to make my maps since Doom Builder 2 does not work for some reason

The Moller brothers manged to make 16 doom units wide bridges enjoyable, however. I expect no less from your attempt, kido.

Feel free to download the map from 

 and on that thread, reply with a video of a successfull attempt of the map (YOU playing through the map and successfully getting to the exit, also don't even think about reading the walkthrough, I wanna see if you can find out how to get to the exit).....
