thank you, the logo was just there for the video, it wont be there in the actual game, but something like the green caco texture or the 4 times 64x64 floor of e1m8 teleporter.

Playing around with translucent textures in Boom.

 

 

 

The same effect, the only difference being the application of special 242.

And I just noticed the slight misalignment of the wood textures.

I used stair-builder to make small sectors one unit from the wall, put the WFALL1 texture on the middle and gave it the translucent mid-texture special, then offset it into the floor.

It doesn't render in GL, though.

Some proper progress for today, not sure if I should use less white and use more black or any kind of other texture. Screenshot was taken with eternity engine.

The picture is cut off perfectly so that the vines on the column look like half of a face, a marble demonic face that fits in just fine in Doom. In the next picture, the vines are clearly vines. It is an example of the human mind's tendency to see faces and patterns.

 

Also, that's a good-looking map.
