That really is a good illustration of why the Romero Rule™ about never changing floor texture types without a corresponding change in floor levels is necessary.

At the rate this thread has gone for months and months I don't think there will ever be a need for a part 3.

EDIT: I guess I mean years, as I've only followed it for months but just saw 2014 as the start.

I suppose that thing Linguica posted is a huge work of reference sectors, maybe voodoo dolls are involved in the making of that room? However, still very impressive.

Part 1 lasted from March 2008 to September 2014 and reached 521 pages. It had to be closed and a Part 2 started because it had become so long that it caused problems with the forum software.

 

However, since then, Doomworld went for a long overdue forum software update, and so PYDP part 2 is already longer than part 1 and it doesn't seem to be causing the same kind of issues part 1 caused back in the vBulletin days.

actually that's exactly the inspiration i had for this particular enemy. That game kind of got me into shooters.
Pretty much all the rest of the enemies are more original though.. But that's the only one i have done so far.
