Post Your Doom Picture (Part 2)

I've got a question...there's so many wonderful screenshots here. How do we eventually find the finished product? Like, I know some of these won't ever be released, but if I see a really rad screenshot and want to play the map, what's a convenient way to do that here?

The skulltag forums for a long time had a "find the map" request thread stickied, maybe that would be nice to have on doomworld as well.

Chainsawgun? Meet the reaper, an alien designed laser chaingun with an alternate fire mode where you can use the grinder on the front to blend the faces of anyone too close to you.

For what it's worth, I would love a perfect dark themed weapons mod, heh.

I mean, it's not really like Decorate would help you with that, unless you actually have a voxel laid out for that thing ( or a model, if you don't mind limiting it to GZDoom compat ).

There was a Goldeneye weapons mod a while back which for some reason also included one of the Perfect Dark weapons the Cyclone, but I think that was during the skulltag days.

Had some ideas this morning and decided to rework the way you exit the map (from my upcoming boom map). Basically, this is how you exited the map at first:

You just entered this pad and voila. However, I thought it was a little too abrupt of an ending so I decided to add a whole new area somewhere behind the map.

Now, you enter the pad (the first shot) and you end up teleporting to the new area (second shot onwards). To exit, you just hit the switch in front of the hole and surprise surprise, a rocket rises up (control sectors, again and again) and with some voodoo doll trickery, when it is fully risen up, the level exits. This may sound a little too much but I like the way it turned out :D

It's nothing original per say but heh, I don't care ;)

Hmm, good idea. Might take some time for me to acchieve something like that though. I shall see what I can do heh.

Couple maps I've seen have done this but some are just textures on a linedef, or a lot more simple. Always nice to see something different than just "HIT SWITCH TO EXIT"~
