How did you check planes/segs overflows?
Manually finding is very tedious, visplane explorer show only doom limits, chocorenderlimits version is not supported Heretic (where is the hell v2.0 anyway?)

Yeah I can pretty much make a new pattern and have the effects on the fly ;P Perhaps I will do a couple- I'll save the PSD!

I don't because I honestly don't know what it is :D

 

I understand it's some sort of limit of vanilla Heretic of how many sectors and lines and things can be in the map?

 

Well I will probably exceed it no matter what. It'd be miracle if it worked with Chocolate Heretic.

Looks really nice, and since you emphasized the green plants so much, I think you could add a bit on the platform of that pillar in the third image.
