I am using new monsters, yes. I've added only one so far but plan to add more soon. Given that this is a boom format project my options are limited in what I can add / modify in the bestiary, however.

Not a very id-ish hallway, but I don't care. Sky seen here is Moondust from custommapmakers.org (Moondust link is a direct download link).

Tech reactors or turbines. These things rotate, I know that.

This room took a couple hours to build, but I'm proud of it.

These rooms are based on some areas built by Malcolm Sailor that I lazily copy/pasted into original!HU, trying to keep the "soul" of these rooms while making them new and interesting.

Also, here is the point at which jumping becomes important.

That looks like nuts.wad, but with additional custom monsters.

I haven't disabled or forgotten the dynamic lights, I just haven't added them yet.

This map will probably satiate my technophilia for quite a while with all its beautiful technology.

I also like carpets, obviously.

I should have this one complete tomorrow, then I can start on E1M6.

Done some more progress on my Techbase wad, Added a bathroom and added some more to the server room, just showing off some little details I made in each of them.

I've made some progress on my next level, Cold Corp. If It Ain't Hot It's Cold.

Pretty standard techbase level but it will be my second level so it's special for me. I have the level layout 70% done just need to finish the layout and place enemies. @Classicgamer6 In your second screenshot, the windows are cutting through the middle of the bricks. That makes it look less like a real place, breaking immersion.

@GoatLordI'm gonna go ahead and guess time based GL lights being turned on and off in time to match the sprite in a circle around it- given there are two that cuts the ACS down by half.

Those are things that can be found on Realm667. If they actually function like that, I can't say.

They can be found on this list.

 

While I'm here, I'll share a Builder shot of my map Malebolge for the Infernew CP.

I'd guess that the alarm light at the top is shooting invisible projectiles in a circular motion, the projectile has a light defined in GLDEFS which is what is illuminating the walls.
