Phobo Posted December 6, 2014 that was sitting a looong time in my shelf Really dont know why I bought it back in the days because I never really was a big gamer (except for a short time). Needing some space now I asked myself if its worth any money? 0 Share this post Link to post
ETTiNGRiNDER Posted December 6, 2014 A quick look at current eBay and Amazon sales suggests around 80-90 USD being asked for a sealed copy, but I don't see any picture that matches that box cover, so maybe you have a rarer edition. 0 Share this post Link to post

IIRC it's the UK version that uses that cover. 0 Share this post Link to post
Doominator2 Posted December 6, 2014 Probably not as much as you would expect. Just because it is factory sealed and its a part of a popular franchise wont necessarily net you a large sum of money. For example just a couple of days ago I bought a factory sealed copy of the first Deus Ex on Ebay, a game that is very well known and popular and I got it for about $30. 0 Share this post Link to post
Six Posted December 6, 2014 Currently the european version unsealed goes for about £15 to £20. Sealed ones of these however are a rarity, but despite this i've seen them go for only £40 to £50, which is still a lot mind you. It's nothing compared to mail order copies. Those are £200+ these days. 0 Share this post Link to post

I only came across one version on eBay german that is also factory sealed and is available for 799,- euros but I thought that must be way too high and dont think anyone will pay that much. http://www.ebay.de/itm/The-Ultimate-DOOM-Thy-Flesh-Consumed-OVP-und-NEU-NEW-and-SEALED/181598260461?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131017132637%26meid%3Db675c1e4276a4014b898190632cfb51a%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D20131017132637%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D181598260461 0 Share this post Link to post
VGA Posted December 6, 2014 That's ridiculous. If i were you I'd put it up for 100 euros and let it stew for a few months. 0 Share this post Link to post

Yeah, the problem is that if something is popular, there's also the good chance that it was pretty common. For something to be valuable it needs to be popular (or at least popular enough someone wants it) AND rare. Kinda like how everyone thought X-Men #1 in 1991 was going to be valuable... not valuable when it sells eight million copies. 0 Share this post Link to post
