Brewtal_Legend Posted December 12, 2014 I was wondering if there was a wad around that replaces the sound effects from with the ones from Doom 3? For the monsters in particular. The archvile sounds even more particular. But would still like to be able to poke around and check out the other sounds it may have if a wad like this does exist. Or maybe a mod that adds doom3 monsters to doom 2 so I could pick out the sounds from there? This is just for personal use btw. I found this: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/?file=sounds/qdoom3snd.zip But the names of the files do not seem to be the same as the Doom sounds. There is also no soundinfo file. Anyone know which ones correspond to the doom 2 archvile sounds? Or know where I might be able to find the information? Edit. sorry. looks there is a sndinfo file. I just missed it at first. Unfortunately most the sounds are in ogg vorbis format. I want to make them compatible with vanilla. Anyone know a good free program to convert them to wav? 0 Share this post Link to post
