Degree23 Posted December 29, 2014 Yes! A great run and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I'd been reading your discussions in the Ultimate Doom thread and it looks like the effort put into the E3M7 rocket jump was really worth it. Congrats! 0 Share this post Link to post
Fredrik Posted December 29, 2014 Very nice. One of the craziest rocket jumps I've seen, TAS or not. I'm amazed that you can pull off monster manipulation like that on E3M1 while simultaneously making sure that the player clears each corner optimally. Is it just trial and error with hundreds of tries? Experience? I hope you do more episodes :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Looper Posted December 29, 2014 That E3M7 RJ sure looked cool :P I like those kind of RJs where you must setup it a bit, so it gets a lot more complicated than typical rocket boost from a wall. 0 Share this post Link to post
ClumsyDoomer Posted December 29, 2014 Very nice run, especially the rocket jump! :D 0 Share this post Link to post

xit-vono Posted January 17, 2015 Cool run. I'm curious about the timing on e3m1. I feel like 23 seconds should be possible there. 0 Share this post Link to post

Well, maybe, but only with hardcore build and that's Looper territory. I've seen your famous CN demo and i'm pretty sure that in my case it wouldn't make any difference. The time will be something like 24.09 - 24.23... simply put - not fast enough. 0 Share this post Link to post
Kpa6 Posted February 18, 2015 Last pinky on e3m1 is capable of opening the door and getting out of the way. Don't know if you can get him to do that without wasting any time in the corridor. Sample attached.e3m1mb.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
