Dododamian Posted January 10, 2015 I have started a new hexen map and I already have a problem. Yesterday I went to see a tutorial about polyobj and I did everything the tutorial said (Sliding Doors) and when I launched the game in Doom builder 2 It came with and error message (Poly 0 does not exist) I use gzdoom and zdoom and I have no idea what the problem is. Ok next up is scripting Is there a site that list all the commands for scripting ex.(Floor_LowerToNearest I already know that)because this map is going to be heavily scripted. Any help would be apprieciated :) 0 Share this post Link to post
AkiraZXE Posted January 10, 2015 For the polyobjects, you probably set the thing tag instead of the thing angle for the start spots and anchors. It's really easy to do accidentally. I have no idea why, but polyobject numbers are set with the thing angle. I don't know if that's actually the issue but it's the first thing that comes to mind. You can find a list of ACS functions (what you're looking for) on the ZDoom Wiki. 0 Share this post Link to post
Rycky91 Posted September 26, 2015 I'm having the same problem. All of my start spots and anchors angles are set to 180. I tried setting them to 0, but i still get a fatal error : poly 0 does not exist. This is frustrating. I tried everything, setting the tags doesn't seem to work. Could someone please help me. I'm using Hexen (not doom in hexen format). EDIT : I set the angles to 1 and 2 and it worked! 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted September 26, 2015 The spots and anchors aren't enough, you also need to define the polyobject shape with a linedef, either type 1:Polyobj_StartLine (the simplest approach) or type 5:Polyobj_ExplicitLine (for more advanced polyobject tricks). 0 Share this post Link to post
