Doom 64 Absolution TC (Resolution and FOV problems)

I'm wanting to play the TC again for its exclusive features and levels but when I set the resolution to 1920x1080 I get a reduced FOV: http://i.imgur.com/89hzI7I.png

I read up the rend_camera_fov command and I set it from 100 to 120 in the doom64.cfg using this as reference: http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13182

But my FOV doesn't save when I go in-game. Thanks.

I think that's a common problem with the older Doomsday versions. I highly doubt there's a fix for it beyond recoding the engine itself.
