I would rather see a project where joe-ilya remakes other peoples' maps.

1994TU had custom textures. Just saying. I have nothing against working with stock textures only, though.

This is actually a very funny concept Joe-Ilya. Why get other people to "tune-up" your maps anyways?

I never bother to contribute to community mapping projects but for this I'll contribute a map.

Perhaps custom textures should be allowed.. I have a couple places I need certain textures.

Either that, or a project where everyone secretly submits a joe-ilya style map, and joe himself contributes say, 3-4 maps, and then everyone tries to guess which is which.

I do think that using custom textures would be nice. If you're worried about the organization of the custom textures when the wad gets compiled, Joe, just get people to name their textures like how Nova II is naming custom textures, with a prefix (for example, the textures I'd add in would all start with AD-).

Looks great, AD_79, but maybe in this particular project, you don't have to be afraid of directly building upon joe-ilya's geometry. That's what makes his maps what they are (one of the things) and what's making the project interesting (like 1994TU).

Heh, what I was doing was just taking the layout and translating it to my mapping 'style'. I could add a couple of Joe's things from the old map to the new one, I suppose.

Very cool, this is the closest project to 1994TU since 1994TU and I loved that one. I really hope this gets somewhere, go go guys!
