DOOMEdit for Doom3

Are there any resources you would recommend to someone learning DOOMEdit for Doom3?

Learning to post in the correct forum would be a good start

From what I can see theres only a classic doom edit board and a general doom 3 board. Why dont you suggest where to post it and be helpful or have a mod move it? Or make a new board if there needs to be.

All Doom 3 stuff goes in Doom 3 general, there used to be separate editing/etc. forums but they were so low-traffic they were closed down. Classic Doom Editing is for classic Doom only. You are new here so I suggest reading the FAQ.

Doom3world.org was the best editing community for the game but sadly the site is still down.

I don't know if you noticed but there is a redirect left for this thread in the classic Doom editing forum. Its actual location is Doom 3 General, which is where you should post anything related to Doom 3.

Every time I go to save a file in DOOMEdit I get the error:

"Unable to rename C:\filename to C:/filepath: Permission denied"

Seems the editor is looking for forward slashes but my actual filepath is backslashes. Any solution to this?
