Cire Posted April 22, 2015 I believed this was true at first, now I'm not as sure anymore after Reading that this could possibly be a PR-trick for some Metal Gear Solid game that I read here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1031440 0 Share this post Link to post
Avoozl Posted April 22, 2015 I would believe that the game developers just simply copied that mans features for their character, the head transplant information is likely coming from a credible medical source. 0 Share this post Link to post

The Pursuer Posted April 25, 2015 Even if this is successful where in the world are body donations going to come from? Healthy people aren't going to give up their perfectly functioning bodies. I'm more surprised that this hasn't been asked yet in this thread. 0 Share this post Link to post
Stygian Posted April 25, 2015 I would be very surprised if this were a hoax given that the patient has been interviewed on the upcoming surgery and he does indeed appear to be dying of a degenerative illness. http://www.theguardian.com/science/video/2015/apr/23/russian-man-worlds-first-head-transplant-video 0 Share this post Link to post

Clonehunter Posted April 25, 2015 In fraggle's article, it seems that the transplant could be real, but that the whole thing isn't so much of a hoax, but rather a cross promotional thing. Sharing similarities with a big upcoming game could be click bait and get people interested in the transplant. At least, I figure that to be the most plausible thing in the article. 0 Share this post Link to post
