Problem with the Small Techno-Spider?

Something I noticed while playing Freedoom is the gun mounted on the Arachnoton replacement seems to strike a familiar chord...

I'm not sure how big of a problem this is, but I felt it should be brought up to attention.

IIRC that sprite was rendered from a 3d model, ill look into replacing the cannon piece just in case

feel free to point out more possible problems if you find them. in this specefic case i think it was just a coincidence, but the small techno spider already neeeded a redesign to fit the actor dimensions better anyway. ill be posting a mock up preview of the new version later

its only one frame, it will take some time to get them all done. just wanted to get feedback on the design ;)

thanks, as usual i'll go slow because of school, but school is almost over, so hopefully ill be able to dedicate more time to it soon. do you guys think the cable at the bottom of the gun should be one cable in the middle are two at each side?
