Your Doom folder structure?

DOOM

-linuxdoom 1.10
-prboom+
-pre-release stuff (anything posted by romero and beta versions)

-D1SPFX15.WAD
-SPRFIX15.WAD
-fixes.txt (contains all the bugs I found so far and ways to fix 'em)
-stats.txt (contains list of level names that I complete with 100/100/100)

IWADS folder is stored in environmental viriables so no need to place every single IWAD in port's folder since they all recognize that variable

..for nostalgic reasons everything is of course in

c:\DOOMDATA\

(containing subfolder for each game / port etc.)

under Linux it's different, it depends on the used port.
I never made a unified Linux installation...:-(

When I open Doom folder, I have this opening:

- IWADs
- Source ports
- WAD files (this contains all sorts of maps that don't have new items or monsters)
- Mods folder (contains folders for gameplay changing and levels that won't fit in normal WAD folder)
- Tools folder (Doom Builder, SLADE, textures, music, demos and that stuff)
- Projects folder (all my maps and stuff archived in there)
- Soundfonts folder (should move to tools)

And various frontends and launchers in their own folders litters around.
