scifista42 Posted May 9, 2015 Russian "Magnus Hansen". Name of a person, possibly particularly this one: http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Magnus_Hanso 0 Share this post Link to post
darkreaver Posted May 9, 2015 Okay weird. Its written on the wall outside our entrance door for some reason. This is on the wall just inside the door: http://m.imgur.com/EqliwFy Know what it means? 0 Share this post Link to post
Maes Posted May 9, 2015 That would be "Petter" if you take some liberties with mixing alphabets and cases -those downward-pointing "E"s would be cyrillic "T"s, and the final latin R...well, it should be a final latin R, otherwise it would have to be a backwards facing Cyrillic "Ya", and it would read "Petteya". 0 Share this post Link to post
Maes Posted May 9, 2015 Maybe you've been marked by the Mafiya, and those are gang signs, yo. 0 Share this post Link to post
Archi Posted May 9, 2015 Doesn't mean anything I think, though, the second one is probably "Pemmer", not "Petter". "Petteya" Lol. 0 Share this post Link to post

Maes Posted May 9, 2015 However, петтея is some kind of board game. The google translation is too fugly for me to make any sense though. With some patience I managed to find out that it's an ancient Greek board game called "Polis" or, surprise surprise, Πέττεια. Go figure. However in modern Greek it sounds like "pettya", not "petteya". 0 Share this post Link to post
Never_Again Posted May 10, 2015 Archi said:the second one is probably "Pemmer", not "Petter". These are not Latin m, the straight tops indicate Cyrillic cursive т, so your second comment is right on the money. Besides, "Petter" makes more sense than "Pemmer". 0 Share this post Link to post
redhead Posted May 13, 2015 Hello, darkreaver.Your building has been vandalized by some bad-ass Serb. The first pic says Magnus Hansen (maybe http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Magnus_Hansen) ,and the other one would look like PEPPPPER,with all letters Serbian Cyrillic, except the last one (r),which is written in Latin. So, my advice would be that you look for a neighbor of a Serbian origin,or someone who recently had guests from Serbia, and introduce them with a paint/repair bill :) 0 Share this post Link to post
