PSA: Zdoom actually has MBF-style helper dogs

I thought it was only in MBF, Prboom+, eternity etc. I had no idea you could summon them. I've been playing around in dos ports to use them, and did not know this!

Are they as dumb as any other scripted friendly? Maybe I spoke too soon...

How good is their AI?

In ZDoom, only as good as usual monsters, which is what I meant by "commonly behaving monsters". In MBF, they were smarter: https://doomwiki.org/wiki/Helper_dog
