This is now the official skeleton thread

I'm almost disappointed you didn't use the weird parody where somebody dubbed over all of Alex's lines with cursing and angry non sequitors.

Then again, I watched that like years ago so it's probably really stupid.

Here's some advice from someone that's had geese on a farm. They're aggressive, and the alpha will love to walk up to people with its whole flock behind and challenge them. If you run, the alpha will attack and you'll "get goosed." If you stand your ground, they won't. Other types of foul are less aggressive, but it can happen with roosters and turkeys too. They're just not as tall and confident as geese. Plus a goose always has the entire flock, while other birds don't.

I've seen other geese farmers beat an alpha to death for attacking them. In a way a goose is like a snake, if you're not paying attention when they're challenging you, they'll attack.

Feral parrots in California and hawks tend to share the same environment.

Hawks will attempt to force parrots roosting in trees out by landing next to them.

Most birds, in response, will attempt to escape by flying out the side of the trees, making them easy targets for the hawks.

This only manages to piss off parrots, and they start growling and poofing up like horrible mogwai things and then they leave by flying straight up through the top of the trees.

The hawk, being a soaring bird, has trouble gaining altitude like the parrot does, and this scores the parrot a surprisingly decent head start.

In Australia, home of so many "nature is trying to kill you" species, there is a "swooping season" in the spring when even magpies swoop and attack people:

I once threatened to kick a turkey's ass for flicking shit or something at me. Damn thing stood there glaring at me as if to say, "Bring it, bitch!". He had his two buddies with him so I walked away.

Yes, there was a fence between us but I was still afraid of these three birds. I think they were from a very rough neighborhood. I could've handled one-on-one, though.

That guys impression of the noise a goose makes is about as bad an animal impression as I have heard.

He's right about them being noisy and shitting everywhere though.

I got attacked by a swan once. I was young and, although I didn't know it, I was walking towards its nest. Damn thing started hissing, flapping its wings and charged at me then whacked me with its wings and hit me with its beak. Scary stuff.

Kind of like this one but it was hissing and didn't stop short.

My uncle's farm is butchering chickens tomorrow. I was asked to go up and participate. I'm never cool with that. I've "bagged" them afterward, but I've never seen it done either. I've also brought them in. Did you know that when holding a chicken upside-down by its feet it makes a sound that sounds as if its saying the word "help" over and over again? Only it sounds more like "haaylp" "haaylp" "haaylp."

Back when I used to take them in and bag them afterward, that was a time when he had a lot less able bodied people living on his property. Now he has more than ever.

Weren't there a Birdman enemy in Doom 3 which never made the cut to the final game? Unfortunately the Cutting Room Floor doesn't cover Doom 3.

vvv Yeah, that one; thanks.

You can see him in the last minute or so of this video too:

Was that actually supposed to be a new enemy? Or an Imp variation? I ask as the Doom 3 novels mentioned Imps with "pointy ears" and I think one was described as having a beak (Though the multi eyes imps were also mentioned).

Yeah, they have a cool golem/goblin look to them that I think would have brought something fresh to Doom 3's rather Silent Hill-ish/alien-looking beastiary.
