Figuring out the optimum strategy wasn't hard.

Camp in the bullet ammo box building and snipe zombies one by one, guys with bigger weapons will come in themselves.

I didn't have the endurance to make it to the end, yet. I don't think I ever will. It's pretty tiresome with so high monster count, and your success relies on luck until you get the chaingun.
