Ugh. Anyone who's had an idea take more time to realize then it really should have knows how I feel right now.
For the sake of telling them apart from normal cyberdemons, these ones have their wires and such colored green; also so color

translation can easily change them to anything in the doom palette.
If you're feeling mean you can even change them to back to red and see if the player is playing attention...

Trying to make a D64 Pain Elemental in Doom 2 style was pretty hard, but then I found a cool triple-PE that Jaws45 and Onslaught Six made a while ago.  So I made some edits to that to get the D64 two-headed Pain Elemental.

 

 

And this one is closer to the D2 color scheme, in Doom palette of course.

...well, that's close enough. The problem with the actual D64 monster sprites is that they're too dark in contrast, and you can't tell which part is which. (Then again, nearly everything in D64 is dark...)
